Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms are very comfortable and clean, including breakfast. However, the cleanliness was not up to par, which was disappointing considering the delay in room availability upon arrival. The service was helpful during check-in but somewhat unprofessional and untrained, especially Ahmed at Reception. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Metro station and near tram services and the botanique park. Avoid using Brussels North station to access the hotel. The dining experience was below expectations, differing from the advertised pictures, despite Thai dishes being available. The facilities are adequate but could use improvement.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were cramped and odd-shaped, with no chair or desk to sit at, and some issues like the remote missing batteries, non-functional bathroom light, and only cold water for morning showers when it's snowing outside. However, the presence of 2 couches and a mini kitchen added a slight comfort factor. The service was nice overall, though there was a sense of rush during breakfast that made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The location turned out to be a good surprise, as it was close to the city center and the north station, offering easy access to key places. The dining experience was very basic, with limited options, but at least it was a last-minute addon. Despite the shortcomings, the hotel did have some positives and negatives to consider.
I stayed on the top floor with a view over the city, and the room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all facilities. The staff was helpful, and the breakfast was good. The noise from nearby rooms, however, disturbed my sleep whenever guests arrived or left.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were not in the best condition; they were dirty with a horrible smell, and even opening the window didn't help much. Waiting for another room wasn't an option due to exhaustion. Additionally, the heating system was not configured properly, and the rooms felt a bit on the small side. On the bright side, the location was convenient, being close to public transport and a manageable walk to the city center. However, the surrounding area wasn't the best, with a dirty and smelly quarter nearby. Despite these issues, the hotel is also near popular spots like Grand Place in Brussels and offers easy access to London and Paris.
Upon arrival at around 14:00, the room was not ready as expected from the website's indication of availability after 12. The room itself had an LCD TV, bathroom with hot and cold shower, and a hairdryer for my wife, but unfortunately, it was not up to standard and had a bad smell.
The hotel's location was very convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Metro Botanique, making it a great spot for exploring the city. However, the rooms were smelly and didn't feel clean, which was disappointing. The service was a mixed bag, some staff were incredible and funny, while others seemed in a hurry and gave an uncomfortable vibe. The dining options were limited, and the restaurant area wasn't cozy. The facilities were lacking, with no particular standout features.
The hotel rooms vary in quality. Some were small, dusty, and had a strange smell in the bathroom, not luxurious at all with stains on the carpet. However, my room was spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Service was a mix; some staff were rude and claimed issues were standard, while others went above and beyond to help. The location was great for exploring tourist areas but had mixed experiences with nearby eateries. The dining options were basic but sufficient for a quick meal. The facilities were adequate overall.
The hotel had a mix of positives like being clean and spacious but had some drawbacks like the lack of proper amenities and delays in room readiness. The service was not consistently exceptional, and the location had both convenience and drawbacks. The dining experience varied from basic to enjoyable, with noise issues during breakfast.
My stay at the hotel was lovely! The room we originally booked was nice and clean, but unfortunately, it was noisy. Luckily, the staff offered us a bigger room at the same price, and even allowed us to check in earlier than expected. The location was convenient, with easy access to the bus and metro stations, and not far from the city center.
The hotel is in a quiet area near Bruxelles-Nord, not far from the city center, making it convenient for accessing touristy areas. The rooms were small without a desk and had issues like sewage smell in the air. The service was a mix of helpful and rude encounters. Dining options were simple and not impressive. The location allows safe walks at night but lacks some essential facilities near the train station. Overall, the hotel offers basic amenities but falls short in some key areas.
